No. Wishpicks is a wishlist platform, not an online shop. It saves the gift ideas you and your friends want and links out to the stores that sell them. You (or whoever is gifting) buy directly in that external store. Wishpicks never sells the product or takes payment for a gift.
How buying actually works
A wish on Wishpicks links to the product page on an external store.
Whoever wants to buy it clicks through to that store.
They pay and complete checkout in the store, just as they normally would.
Wishpicks isn't part of that transaction. There's no cart or checkout for gifts on Wishpicks.
Common questions
Does Wishpicks charge for anything? One thing only: Wishpicks Plus, an optional subscription that adds price-tracking features (track any store, set price thresholds, get daily price-drop alerts). It doesn't let you buy gifts through Wishpicks; buying still happens in the external store.
Isn't reserving the same as buying? No. A gifter can reserve an item so others know it's taken, but the purchase itself happens in the store. That's also why Wishpicks can't confirm a purchase: because checkout happens in an external store, Wishpicks can show that an item was reserved but can't know whether someone actually bought it.
