Wishpicks is a wishlist that helps you find what real people actually want — real products at real, in-stock prices in your region — and save them in one place to share and get as gifts.
You add things you'd love from any online store and share your list with a link. The people gifting to you can then reserve an item, so two people don't buy the same one.
Wishpicks is not a shop. It saves your gift ideas and links out to the stores that sell them — it doesn't sell products or take payment. See "Does Wishpicks sell products?" for more.
Steps
Create a wishlist for any occasion — a birthday, a holiday, a wedding, or just things you want.
Add wishes in whichever way is easiest:
Type what you're looking for — describe it in your own words and Wishpicks finds matching products in its catalog. Each result is a real product from a real store, shown at the last-synced price in your region.
Paste a link — drop in a product link (or several at once) from any online store, and Wishpicks reads the page to fill in the name, image, and price.
Drop a photo — add a picture and Wishpicks suggests a name and description for you. You can edit everything before you save.
Share your wishlist with a link, or by email. Friends and family can open it without an account.
They reserve gifts they plan to give, so no one doubles up. By default this stays a surprise — you don't see what's been reserved unless you choose to look.
They buy in the store the wish links to. Wishpicks doesn't handle the purchase or the money.
Keep in mind
When you search, Wishpicks shows real items from real stores — never made-up ones — and you buy at the store, not on Wishpicks. What you see is the last-synced value, scoped to your region and shown in each store's own currency, so always check the current price and stock at the store before you buy. Tag a wishlist with an occasion for tailored ideas. Set the occasion — a birthday, a wedding, a new baby, and more — and Wishpicks suggests gift ideas built around it. See "Can I make a registry for a wedding, baby shower, or birthday?".
A photo only suggests a name and description. It never fills in a price or a buy link, and it never overrides what you've already typed. Images can be up to 5 MB.
"Wished by N people" on a product shows how many different people have added it to a wishlist. It's a real, live count — not likes — and the number can lag a fresh wish by a couple of minutes.
It's free to use. The only paid extra is Wishpicks Plus, which adds price-tracking features (tracking any store, custom price thresholds, and price-drop alerts). Everything in the steps above is free.
Anyone with the link can view your wishlist — no sign-up required to look or reserve.
Reserving a gift is not buying it. A reservation marks who plans to give something, so the surprise stays intact. The gift still has to be bought in the store and given separately. See "How does gift reservation work?".
