Wishpicks isn't a shop and never takes payment for a gift. Reserving holds the item here; the purchase happens at the merchant, where you arrange it.

There's no "bought" status on Wishpicks. We can't tell whether you went through with the purchase, because the store link only sends you to the merchant and records nothing.

Reserving doesn't fulfill the wish either. Marking a wish as received is a separate step the owner takes later, so the wish stays open until they do.
