- How does gift reservation work?Reserving a gift marks that you plan to give it, so no one picks the same item. Reserving is not buying, and by default the owner doesn't see it.
- How can someone mark that they will buy a gift?Open the shared wishlist, tap Reserve on the wish, and confirm. This marks the gift as taken so no one else picks it; you then buy it at the store.
- Can I see if someone reserved my gift? Not by default — the Reveal reservations setting is off to keep the surprise. Turn it on to see a Reserved badge on items that have been claimed.
- Can two people reserve the same gift?No — reserving a wish locks it, so only one person can have it reserved at a time; it becomes available again only if that reservation is cancelled.
- How to cancel a reservationOpen the wishlist where you reserved the item and tap Cancel Reservation — this frees the item so someone else can reserve it.
- Can I see who reserved or bought a gift?Only if you choose to. By default reservations are hidden and anonymous; a name shows only if you reveal reservations and require registered users.
- I reserved a gift by accident — how do I undo it?Open the wishlist where you reserved it and tap Cancel Reservation — that frees the item right away so someone else can reserve it instead.
- Does reserving a gift mean I've bought it?No — reserving just marks the gift as taken so no one else picks it. You still buy it yourself at the store; Wishpicks is not a shop.
- Can I leave a note when I reserve a gift?Yes — right after you reserve a wish, you can add a short note. Heads up: the owner can read it if they turn on reservations, so don't put anything…
