You can add Notes for the gifters (size, colour, model and so on) and a priority, plus a description and tags under More settings.
When adding a wish takes you to Where to add, you can set its Priority and Notes for the gifters right there. To add details to a wish you already have, use its edit form: see "How do I edit, move or delete a wish?".
Where do I put the size or colour?
Size, colour and model go in Notes for the gifters: a wish has no separate size, colour or quantity field. On a wish you already have, open it and tap Add a note for gifters, or tap your note to change it.
Gifters see the note on the wish's page under “Note for gifters.” Everyone who can see the wish can read it, so keep your address out of it (see "Does Wishpicks deliver the gift?").
Want two of something? Clone the wish (⋯ → Clone) so two people can each reserve one.
How do I set a priority?
Open the ⋯ menu on the wish's card and pick Top priority, Highly desired or Would like to have. You can also use the priority line on the wish's page (it says Select wish priority until you choose), or Wish priority in the edit form.
To remove it, pick No priority in the ⋯ menu or on the wish's page; in a form, tap the chosen priority again. Everyone who can see the wish sees its priority.
Where do the description and tags show?
On the wish's page: the description under Details, and tags as #tags. A wish added from store search results may show “Written with a little help from AI” under its description, and the line stays even if you rewrite it.
Tags are short words like “gadgets, travel, for home”. Once your wishes have some, the list shows them in a row above the wishes, and tapping one shows only those. Tap All to see every wish again.
What should I put on my wishlist?
Anything you'd be glad to get, from any shop, plus things with no link at all, like a trip or a class (see "How do I add a wish without a link?"). Stuck? Try these wishlist ideas to get you started.
Tips
Name the exact version when the shop sells several: “the black one in size M, not the travel size”.
Add a reason when it helps, like “to replace my old one”, so people can choose with confidence.
Offer a backup, like “any similar lamp is fine”, in case your first choice sells out.
Save Top priority for the few things you want most.
