Once you've signed in, turn on Price drop alerts in Settings → Notifications: Wishpicks watches your wishes from partner shops for free and emails you when a price drops.
Tap your profile picture at the top right, then Settings.
Tap Notifications.
Turn on Price drop alerts.
It's one setting for your whole account, covering every partner-shop wish you have or add later except fulfilled ones, price ranges and ones whose tracking has lapsed (see "Why isn't the price on my wish updating?").
You can also tap Track price changes on a partner-shop wish, then Turn on. Signed out, it says "Sign in to track this price".
Which shops are watched for free?
Shops that partner with Wishpicks, for as many wishes as you like. There's no full list (Explore → Partner shops shows only some), so check the wish once alerts are on: a partner-shop wish has a pulsing dot by its price and Updated under it. A wish from any other shop shows Watch this price marked Plus.
Can I watch any shop or set a target price?
Yes, with Wishpicks Plus, except at the few shops that asked not to be tracked. Without it, Watch this price and Set a price target open the Plus offer (see "Is Wishpicks free, and what does Plus add?"). With Plus:
Turn on Price drop alerts: Plus alerts need it too.
On a wish with a link and a single price, tap Watch this price.
Tap the gear icon (Alert settings) under the price.
Drag the Price drops by slider to the drop you'd act on.
For a target price, tap Price falls below and type it.
Tap Save.
Only the list's owner sees these controls.
Where do I see the wishes I'm tracking?
Wishes you watch with Wishpicks Plus are listed in Wishes → Tracked; free-tracked partner-shop wishes aren't listed together, so check each wish for Updated under its price.
In Tracked, they're grouped into Needs attention (price checks failing), Dropped and Went up (this week), and "steady" for the rest. Without Plus, the page shows your All wishes value and the Plus offer. To stop, open the wish and tap the gear (Alert settings) → Stop watching.
How often are prices checked, and what counts as a drop?
Wishpicks Plus checks prices more often than free tracking does; the price alerts page gives both schedules and the drop that counts.
A fall counts once it reaches a set percentage, unless the item's out of stock or not priced in the wish's currency. Smaller falls update the price without an email. With Wishpicks Plus, you choose the percentage.
Can I get an alert when something is back in stock?
No, but the wish shows Out of stock or Pre-order next to its price when the shop says so.
Tips
Sold in several shops? Add it with a link from one in Explore → Partner shops, and it's watched for free.
With Wishpicks Plus, set Price falls below to what you'd happily pay. Price drops by still counts, so whichever comes first sends the alert.
With Wishpicks Plus, before buying something "on sale", tap the chart icon by the gear (Price history) to check it's really lower than usual.
Seeing Tracking limit? Stop watching a wish you've bought or no longer want.
