Paste a product link into the add bar at the top of the page (on a phone, tap the pink + first); Wishpicks fills in the name, price and photo.
On a computer, it's the bar that says "Paste a link, type a name, or drop a photo". Ctrl K (⌘K on a Mac) opens the Add Wish window from anywhere. No list yet? Your first wish makes one called My Wishlist.
Does your bar say "Describe it, paste a link, or drop a photo"? Links work the same, and "Can I find something by describing it?" covers the rest.
Steps
On a computer:
Copy the address of the product's page from your browser.
Paste it into the add bar. The Add Wish window opens and reads the product.
Check the card, or click Edit details to change anything first.
Click Add to list. Outside a list, pick one under Where to add and click Add to wishlist.
On a phone:
Copy the product's link in the shop's app or site. In an app, look under Share.
Tap the pink + and paste. It's read straight away; tap Next if you typed the link out.
Check the card, or tap Edit details to change anything first.
Tap Add to list. If Where to add opens, pick a list and tap Add to wishlist.
How do I choose which list a wish goes to?
Add it from inside a list and it goes straight there; from anywhere else, pick a list, or make a New wishlist, under Where to add.
It opens when you tap Add to list, set to the list you added to last, and includes lists shared with you that you can add to.
Once you've signed in, collections show up there too. A New collection made there is public, so the item appears on your profile: see "How is a collection different from a list?".
Does it work with any shop?
Yes, any online shop: if a link won't import, add the wish by hand or from a photo instead. "How do I add a wish without a link?" shows how.
Can I add several links at once?
Yes: paste two or more product links, separated by spaces, commas or new lines, and they go to one list; that's also how to move a wishlist from another site. Paste the shops' own product links, not that site's pages.
Each link gets its own row. Tap Retry on a row that fails, or remove it. Then tap the add button, which counts the wishes going in: only links that were read get added. If they all fail, you can add them as custom wishes, named after their websites.
Pasting a whole note or chat message works too, as long as it has two or more links: the words around them are skipped.
Tips
Copy the link from the product's own page, not a search results page.
Shorten a long shop title with Edit details before you add it, so friends can scan your list.
Adding from outside a list? The "Added to your wishlist" message names the list the wish went to, and View wishlist opens it.
