In some countries, yes: type something like “gift for a toddler” in the add bar and press Enter, or on a phone tap + and choose Search stores.
Wishpicks searches shops in the country you've chosen, and you can add any result to a list.
Steps
On a phone:
Tap the pink + at the bottom of the screen.
Type what you're looking for, like “board game for a family with young kids”.
Tap Search stores.
Tap a product to see it.
To keep it, tap Add to wishlist and pick a list under Where to add.
On a computer:
Type what you're looking for in the add bar at the top of the page.
Press Enter, and the results open in the page.
Click a product to see it.
To keep it, click Add to wishlist and pick a list under Where to add.
How do I keep something I found?
Open it, tap Add to wishlist, pick a list under Where to add and tap Add to wishlist again. The button then reads “In your Wishlist”. To keep it in one of your collections instead, pick the collection and tap Add to collection.
How do I sort or narrow the results?
Sort them by Most relevant, Cheapest first, Most expensive or Most popular, and narrow them with Price (a Min and a Max) and Recipient (an age group, Her or Him). On a computer, the sort button shows the current order, like Most relevant. On a phone, all of these are under Filters.
What if nothing matches?
You'll see “No exact matches — here are related items you might like” and close alternatives instead. When nothing turns up at all, it says “Nothing matched yet”, with Try a different search and Add it manually.
Add it manually turns your words into a wish you fill in yourself. It's also at the bottom of any results, next to “Didn't find it?”.
Why don't I see Search stores?
Search stores isn't available in the country you've chosen. Where it is, the add bar says “Describe it, paste a link, or drop a photo”. On a phone, the + window says “Paste a link or type a name”.

Tips
Say who it's for and what they love: “gift for a dad who loves grilling” gives the search more to go on than “gift for dad”.
Put your budget in the description: the results stay within it, and the budget shows above them so you can change or remove it.
