Two separate things live on Wishpicks: price-drop alerts on items you track, and partner-store deals under Discover. Wishpicks doesn't run its own sales. Prices and discounts come from the stores.
Price-drop alerts on your own wishes
When the price on a wish you track falls far enough, Wishpicks can email you. These alerts are email only. There's no in-app notification, and nothing arrives the moment a price moves: drops get grouped together and sent every so often, more often on Wishpicks Plus than on the free plan. They're off to begin with, so turn on Price drop alerts in Settings → Notifications if you want them.
On the free plan, tracking and alerts work on partner stores only, and only with that setting on. The free plan puts no cap on how many items you track. With Wishpicks Plus you can track items in any store, set your own drop percentage or a target price per wish, and see price history. See the Wishpicks Plus collection.
There are no back-in-stock alerts. Alerts fire on price drops only.
Partner-store deals under Discover
Some regions get a Deals tab under Discover, with promo codes and discounts from partner stores. It's rolling out region by region and is live in Ukraine so far, so if you don't see the tab, it isn't switched on where you are yet. These are store promotions, separate from price-drop alerts on your own wishes.

A wish's price is captured when it's added, which doesn't need Plus, as long as Wishpicks can pick the price up from the store page. Ongoing automatic updates are what Plus and partner-store tracking add. See "What is Wishpicks Plus, and what do you get?" in Wishpicks Plus.
Prices aren't converted into your currency. Each item shows in the currency its store used.
