There's one place to add a wish: the Add Wish bar at the top of your wishlist. Paste a link, drop in a photo, or just type what you're after. You don't pick a mode first; the bar works out what you meant.
Steps
Open your wishlist and tap the Add Wish bar.
Type what you want, in supported regions. A few words like "white ceramic pour-over coffee maker". Press Enter and Wishpicks shows real products you can add. Set your region on your account to use this. Where it isn't available yet, plain words start a manual wish instead. See "How do I find a gift by describing what I want?"
Paste a link from any store. Wishpicks fills in the name, price, image, and other details for you to check and save. Paste two or more links together to add several at once. See "How do I add a product from another website?" and "Can I add several products at once?"
Drop in a photo. Upload, paste, or drag an image onto the bar. Wishpicks opens a new-wish form with your photo attached and suggests a name. See "How do I add a wish from a photo?"
Check the details, edit anything, and save. The wish lands on your list with a link back to the store.
Good to know
When you describe something, the results are real catalogue items, never made-up ones, each linking out to its store. You're seeing the price we last checked, in the store's own currency with no conversion, so confirm at the store. In-stock items show by default. See "Does Wishpicks sell products?"
A photo suggests the name and maybe a description, never the price or a buy link. It won't change anything you've already typed. It isn't search-by-photo, just a shortcut for filling the form. Images need to be 5 MB or smaller.
If a link doesn't come through, an Add it manually option appears so you can type the details yourself. See "My link didn't import correctly — how do I add the item manually?"
A wish can also carry a description, notes, a price range, priority, tags, and up to 5 images. There's no box for quantity, size, or colour, so put those in the notes, like "size M, navy blue". See "What should I write in a wish description?"
You can edit or delete a wish anytime, and move it to another wishlist. See "How do I edit a wish?"
Next, share your list. See "How to share your wishlist with friends and family"
