There's one place to add a wish: the Add Wish bar at the top of your wishlist. Paste a link — or a few at once — and Wishpicks pulls the product in. Drop a photo and Wishpicks reads it to fill in the wish for you. And in supported regions, you can type what you're looking for and Wishpicks finds real products — no link needed.
Steps
Open your wishlist and tap the Add Wish bar at the top.
Describe it. In supported regions, type what you want — a name or a few words like "white ceramic pour-over coffee maker." Press Enter and Wishpicks searches its catalog and shows real products you can add. Set your region on your account to use it; where it isn't available yet, typing a name simply starts a manual wish instead. See "How do I find a gift by describing what I want?"
Paste a link. Paste a product's web address from any store and Wishpicks reads the page, then pre-fills the name, price, image, and other details for you to check and save. To add several at once, paste two or more links together. See "How do I add a product from another website?" and "Can I add several products at once?"
Drop a photo. Upload, paste, or drag an image onto the Add Wish bar. Wishpicks opens a new-wish form with your photo attached and reads it to suggest the wish name (and an optional description). See "How do I add a wish from a photo?"
Check the details, edit anything you like, and save. The wish lands on your wishlist with a link back to the store so anyone gifting can buy it there.
Good to know
The Add Wish bar figures out what you meant, so you don't pick a mode first — just paste, type, or drop. A link starts an import and a photo opens the new-wish form. Where describe-it search is available, plain words start a search; where it isn't, plain words start a manual wish.
When you describe something, Wishpicks finds actual catalog items, never made-up ones, and links out to the store to buy. Wishpicks isn't a shop. Search shows the last values Wishpicks synced, for your region, in each store's own currency (no conversion) — a strong guide, not a live quote, so check the store before you buy. A photo fills in the name, not the price. Reading a photo suggests the wish name and, if you want, a description. It never fills in a price or a buy link, and it never changes anything you've already typed. It's not a "search by photo" — it just helps fill the form. Images need to be 5MB or smaller.
If a link doesn't import, an Add it manually option appears so you can type the details yourself. Reading a page occasionally fails, and this is the fallback. See "My link didn't import correctly — how do I add the item manually?"
"Wished by N people" on a product is the number of different people who've added it to a wishlist. It's real and live, can take a couple of minutes to catch up, and is hidden when it's zero.
You can edit or delete a wish anytime, and move it to another wishlist. See "How do I edit a wish?"
Beyond what's filled in, a wish can have a description, notes, a price range, priority, tags, and up to 5 images. There are no separate boxes for quantity, size, or colour — put those in the wish's notes or description (for example "size M, navy blue"). See "What should I write in a wish description?"
