Want your own picture on a wish? Open the wish, click the upload tile in its image gallery, and add the photo. You can attach up to 5 images per wish.
This is about putting your own image on a wish you're already creating or editing. If you instead want to start a brand-new wish from a photo and have Wishpicks fill in the name for you, see "How do I add a wish from a photo?" below.
Steps
Open the wishlist and select the wish (or open the new-wish form).
In the image section, click the upload tile.
Choose an image file, or drag one onto the tile.
Save your changes.
A few details
Up to 5 images per wish. Once you reach 5, the upload tile disappears. Delete one to add another.
Allowed file types are JPEG, PNG, GIF, WebP, AVIF, SVG, and BMP. Each file must be 5 MB or smaller — bigger files are rejected with a "too large" message.
The first image is the main one. Drag images to reorder them, and the first in the row becomes the wish's primary picture. You can delete any image on its own.
Most links bring a photo automatically. When you add a wish from a product link, Wishpicks usually pulls in the product image for you — see "How do I add a product from another website?" Attaching your own photo is handy when a link didn't bring one, or you want a clearer shot.
Attaching a photo is also different from creating a wish from a photo. Here you add an image to a wish, and nothing else changes — the name, price, and link stay exactly as you set them. If you instead drop a photo into the Add Wish bar, Wishpicks opens a new-wish form with that image attached and fills in the wish name (and an optional description) for you to edit; it never touches the price or buy link. See "How do I add a wish from a photo?"
You need Contributor access or higher to edit a wish on a shared wishlist. See "What is the difference between viewing and editing access?" in the Shared Wishlists collection.
