How do I send my wishlist to someone?

Open your wishlist, tap Share, and copy the link or send it through a chat or social app — anyone with the link can view it.

Written by Wishpicks

To send your wishlist, open it, tap Share, and copy the link. Paste it into any message, email, or chat. Anyone you send it to can open the wishlist without signing in.

Steps

  1. Open the wishlist you want to share.

  2. Tap Share.

  3. Copy the link, or pick one of the share options on that screen (your phone's own share sheet, messaging apps, social apps).

  4. Send it to the people you want to see the wishlist.

Before you share

New wishlists are set to Anyone with the link. So anyone holding the link can open it, but the wishlist won't appear on your public profile and won't show up in search. People don't need a Wishpicks account to view it. See "Can people see my wishlist without an account?"

If your wishlist is set to Invite only, a plain link won't open it, and the Share screen will tell you so. Invite people by email instead. See "How do wishlist privacy settings work?"

Sharing the link lets people view and reserve gifts, nothing more. It doesn't let anyone edit your wishlist. Editing is a separate invite, sent by email. See "What's the difference between an editor, a guest, and someone reserving a gift?"

One last check before you send a public link: don't put your home address in the wishlist. Wishpicks has no delivery-address field. Whoever gives the gift buys it at the store and works out delivery with you directly, or you send the details privately.
