How to make a wishlist public

Open the wishlist's visibility settings and choose Public to show it on your profile, or Anyone with the link to let anyone you send the link to view it.

Written by Wishpicks

To make a wishlist public, open its Share settings and choose Public (shown on your profile) or Anyone with the link (viewable by anyone you give the link to). New wishlists already start as Anyone with the link.

Steps

  1. Open the wishlist you want to share.

  2. Open its settings and go to the Share tab.

  3. Choose the option you want:

    • Public — anyone can view it and it appears on your public profile.

    • Anyone with the link — anyone you send the link to can view it, but it stays off your profile and out of search results.

  4. Save.

What to expect

  • To choose Public, you need to be signed in. The Public option isn't available to people who aren't registered.

  • A public list can still have collaborators. Making it public only controls who can view it, not who can edit it.

Even when a list is Public, it only appears on your own profile. Wishpicks has no browse, feed, or search surface where other people's wishlists are listed, so people won't stumble onto your list unless they visit your profile or you share the link. With Anyone with the link, people can only reach the list if you share the link with them — it's not browsable or search-indexed.

Avoid putting personal details like your home address on a public wishlist. Wishpicks has no delivery-address field, so coordinate delivery privately instead. See "What information is visible to guests?" To restrict a list again, see "How to make a wishlist private".
