Do I need to add my address to my wishlist?

No — Wishpicks has no address field, and you should never post a home address on a wishlist; coordinate delivery privately instead.

Written by Wishpicks

No. There's no address field on Wishpicks, so there's nothing to fill in. And a home address doesn't belong on a wishlist anyway.

Your list holds the things you want, not your delivery details. Gifters buy at the store themselves and arrange delivery with you afterwards, so all they need is a way to reach you when the time comes.

Why there's no address to add

Wishpicks doesn't sell or ship anything, so it never needs to know where you live. There's no field for a shipping address, postal code, recipient name, or phone number on a wish, on a wishlist, or on your profile. That's deliberate. A wishlist set to Anyone with the link can be opened by anyone who's been sent it, which makes it a poor place to keep anything personal.

What to do instead

  1. Leave a neutral hint on a wish if you want one, such as "Message me for delivery details."

  2. When someone reaches out, send your real address privately by text, chat, or email.

  3. Keep that address out of anything that goes back onto the list.

Good to know

If a gifter asks where to send something, answer them privately rather than writing it on the list. Nothing in a wish note is private to one person.
