Is my address visible to everyone?

Wishpicks never stores or shows a delivery address; anything you type into a wish note is visible to whoever can open the wishlist.

Written by Wishpicks

Wishpicks never stores or shows a delivery address, so there's no address for anyone to see. What you type into a wish note is a different matter: everyone who can open that wishlist can read it.

There's no address, postal code, recipient name, or phone field anywhere on Wishpicks. Personal details only turn up if you type them into a wish description or notes yourself, and then they're exactly as visible as the list they sit on.

Who can see what you write

A wishlist has three visibility settings. Anyone with the link is the default: anyone holding the link can open the list and read every wish note. It won't appear on your profile or in search results, though a link can always be forwarded on. Public goes further. Anyone can view it, and it's listed on your public profile for people to find. Invite only keeps it to you and the people you've invited by email.

Whichever one you use, a viewer sees the wish names, prices, images, notes, and tags. A note is only ever as private as the list it's on.

Good to know

Since new lists start on Anyone with the link, treat a wish note as something a stranger could read one day. Keep your address out of it and pass delivery details along privately instead.
