Google, Facebook, or an emailed magic link. There's no email-and-password login on Wishpicks, so there's no password to remember. You can also browse and reserve gifts as a guest without signing in at all.
Steps
Go to the sign-in page on Wishpicks.
Pick a method. Continue with Google and Continue with Facebook use an account you already have. Email me a link sends a magic sign-in link to the address you enter.
If you asked for the link, open the email and click it. The first time you do this, your account is created for you.
The magic link
Clicking the link signs you in and confirms your email address at the same time, so there's no separate verification step. It's valid for about an hour. When an old one stops working, request a new one. There's nothing to reset.
Browsing as a guest
You can look at a shared wishlist without an account, and reserve a gift on it when the owner allows that. Sign up later in the same browser and the wishlists and reservations you made as a guest come across to your new account. On another device, or after clearing cookies, they won't. A wishlist you built as a guest can still be rescued with a recovery link or recovery email, if you set one up in time. A guest reservation can't.
Good to know
Google and Facebook logins that share one email address lead to a single Wishpicks account. Different addresses mean different accounts. Signing in with Apple isn't available yet.
Most sign-in trouble comes down to switching method or address between visits, so stick with the one you started on.
