If a payment fails, you keep Plus while Wishpicks retries the charge — nothing is cut right away. If you downgrade to free, your Plus-tracked items keep working for a 7-day grace period, then expire.
If your payment fails
Plus stays on during retries. A failed payment doesn't immediately remove Plus. Wishpicks keeps retrying the charge for about three weeks, and your Plus features keep working while the period you've paid for is still running.
You'll get a heads-up. You'll see a "payment failed" email and a banner asking you to update your payment method.
Update your card to stay on Plus. Fix the payment in the billing portal before the period ends. See "How do I cancel, pause, or change my Wishpicks Plus subscription?"
If you downgrade to free
After you cancel, Plus stays active through the period you've already paid for. Once it ends, your Plus-tracked items keep working for another 7 days — a grace period. Then they expire and stop being tracked under Plus.
What you lose after grace
Tracking on non-partner stores (any-store tracking).
The 50-item tracking limit.
Custom thresholds and target prices.
Price-history charts.
The weekly price recap email.
What still works on free
Partner-store alerts keep going. Items at partner stores still get standard free-tier price-drop alerts, as long as your Price drop alerts setting is on. See "How do I turn on price-drop alerts and control the emails I get?"
Keep in mind
Re-subscribing doesn't auto-restore expired items. If you come back to Plus before grace ends, your not-yet-expired items keep their tracking. But items that already expired won't switch back on by themselves — you'll need to re-enable tracking on those manually.
Your wishes themselves are safe. A downgrade only affects price tracking. Your wishlists, wishes, and reservations stay exactly as they are.
