Your public profile is a page at /@your-handle that anyone can open. It shows your name, handle, avatar, bio, social links, your follower and following counts, and any wishes you've put in public wishlists. You set or change the handle in Settings > Account.
What's on your profile
Your name, @handle, and avatar.
Your bio (up to 500 characters).
Up to 6 social links.
Your followers and following counts and lists.
Wishes from your
publicwishlists only.
Steps to set or change your handle
Go to Settings > Account.
Edit your handle (slug). It's checked as you type.
Save. Your profile link updates to the new
/@handle.
Your handle must be between 3 and 50 characters, unique — not already taken — and not a reserved word. You edit your bio on the same Settings > Account page.
Good to know
Two different settings pages. Settings > Account controls your public profile (handle and bio). Settings > Profile is separate — it sets your display name, photo, language, and country. Both your name and photo show on the public profile.
Your profile is public by its handle. There's no switch to make your whole profile private. To keep specific wishes out of view, set those wishlists to Invite only or Anyone with the link instead of Public. See "How is my public profile different from sharing a single wishlist?".
Profile pages are marked so search engines don't index them, but anyone holding your /@handle link can still open the page. And even though the page itself is public, private and link-only wishlists never show on it — only public ones are listed.
